About Us

Stem Pixel is a web and iphone app design and development agency founded by Tim Thompson, a designer and programmer who has literally travelled the world to build websites and apps. The company is co-directed by his father David Thompson, an engineering genius.

About Tim

Tim Thompson Tim began his career developing websites for the University of Wales Bangor before embarking on a Masters in Computing specialising in E-Commerce at Coventry University, finishing with Distinction. From there he developed a successful website strategy for LRQA in England before travelling to the Americas to build websites on a voluntary basis for organisations in Costa Rica and Mexico.

Tim brings a phenomenal degree of experience to the table. Now based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, UK he works with clients across both continents and languages.

About David

David Thompson is an engineering hero - in the 80s he was the one who gave us software that enables music to be written onto manuscript simply by playing a musical instrument into a microphone. David has sharp ideas and presents novel solutions to problems and we are fortunate to have his brilliance providing engineering support to our systems today.

David is also very personable, and goes out of his way to help clients - even when they don't know a mouse from a monitor.
